Clinical
Indications |
|
Monitoring therapy on patients with known
sarcoidosis. Serum ACE activity is raised in just over half of
patients with sarcoidosis, reflecting the granulomatous
load. It
may also be raised in other diseases with articular
manifestations. For
these reasons it is NOT suitable as a screening test for
sarcoidosis.
